What games will Clemson football fans be watching this week? Here is our complete TV Guide to College Football Week 12 of the 2018 season.

The Clemson football team will play its first night home game of the season Saturday against Duke.

That means that many Tiger fans will have an entire Saturday afternoon to watch College Football.

So, with that in mind, let’s take a look at some of the prominent games from around the country and what to expect in those matchups, beginning with the noon slate.

Noon Slate:

  • The Citadel at #1 Alabama, 12 p.m. (SEC Network)
  • Arkansas at #21 Mississippi State, 12 p.m. (ESPN)
  • #10 Ohio State at Maryland, 12 p.m. (ABC)
  • Pittsburgh at Wake Forest, 12 p.m. (ACC Network)
  • #19 Utah at Colorado, 1:30 p.m. (Pac-12 Network)

This is easily the weakest noon slate of games all season. Every team around the country is basically playing a “cupcake game” during this time slot. None of these games will even be remotely close.

If you’re into scouting, you should check out the Pittsburgh-Wake Forest game as the Panthers should be playing the Tigers in a couple of weeks in the ACC Championship game.

Afternoon Slate:

  • #12 Syracuse at #3 Notre Dame, 2:30 p.m. (NBC)
  • #9 West Virginia at Oklahoma State, 3:30 p.m. (ABC)
  • #20 Boston College at Florida State, 3:30 p.m. (ESPN 2)
  • Miami at Virginia Tech, 3:30 p.m. (ESPN)
  • Indiana at #5 Michigan, 3:30 p.m. (FS1)

The afternoon slate is a little better. I think we could see a close game between Syracuse and Notre Dame in that early-afternoon matchup. I think Eric Dungey has the ability to keep the game close for the Orange for a while.

This slate should be fairly entertaining to watch and I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw an upset or two out of these four games.

Night Slate:

  • Duke at #2 Clemson, 7 p.m. (ESPN)
  • #24 Cincinnati at #11 UCF, 8 p.m. (ABC)
  • Chattanooga at South Carolina, 7:30 p.m. (SEC Network)
  • #16 Iowa State at #15 Texas, 8 p.m. (Longhorn Network)
  • Arizona at #8 Washington State, 10:30 p.m. (ESPN)

Obviously, Clemson football fans will be watching the Tigers take on Duke Saturday night. Outside of Clemson, though, there are a couple of notable games. I think seeing UCF in prime time in front of a nationally televised audience will be fun.

The Knights will finally have a chance to prove how good they are and beat a ranked team at home with ESPN College GameDay on hand for the matchup.
