Clemson Football: Scoring Prediction vs. Boston College
Here is our scoring prediction and final analysis for Clemson football’s matchup with Boston College Saturday night in Chestnut Hill.
The Clemson football team will travel to Chestnut Hill Saturday night to take on the Boston College Eagles.
The ACC Atlantic Division matchup will basically decide the winner of the division and will be featured on ESPN College GameDay.
If the Tigers win the ballgame, they will clinch the Atlantic Division for a fourth-straight year. If Boston College wins the game, the Eagles will still have to win their final two against Florida State and Syracuse.
Here is our final analysis and scoring prediction for the game.
Analysis:
When I look and compare the two teams, Clemson is clearly the more talented.
The Tigers have a depth chart full of capable guys and, in my opinion, just have more team speed and athleticism than Boston College.
The Eagles are very physical up-front and like to impose their will on teams in the trenches. Unfortunately for them, though, I just don’t think they’ll be able to do that against Clemson.
AJ Dillon is one of the nation’s best running backs, but he is struggling with an ankle injury and will be going up against one of the best rush defenses in the country.
I think we’ll see a close game for about a quarter, but then we’ll see Clemson football start to pull away in the second quarter and second half. The Tigers cover the spread of 20 points, in my opinion, and come away celebrating another ACC Atlantic Division Championship.
Scoring Prediction:
Clemson 42, Boston College 10
