What’s the final score of Clemson football’s game against the Louisville Cardinals? Here is our final scoring prediction for the matchup Saturday.

The Clemson football team will host the Louisville Cardinals this afternoon.

The Tigers are looking to improve to 9-0 and continue their trek towards a fourth-straight College Football Playoff appearance.

In order to do that, though, it all starts with Louisville.

Here is our scoring prediction and final analysis for the game Saturday.

Analysis:

Louisville is just not a good team right now.

The Cardinals have consistently competed with the Tigers and should’ve beaten Clemson in the recent past, but haven’t been able to do so.

Now, with the loss of Lamar Jackson, Louisville is sitting at 2-6 without much defensive talent and an offense that has been less-than-stellar.

The question for me is if Clemson comes out focused.

If the Tigers come out ready to play, they could pretty much pick the score of the game. If not, we could see them struggle for a little while. Clemson hasn’t been good in the first quarter of games so far and I think that will change this week.

Look for Trevor Lawrence to get going and for the rushing attack to be prominent. I think the Tigers can pretty much pick what they want to do offensively and the defense should be able to contain Jawon Pass and Co. on that Louisville offense.

In the end, I think the Tigers score a lot of points and Louisville isn’t able to get into the end zone but maybe once. You have to respect that Jawon Pass, at some point, may find an open receiver for a big gain.

It should be a fun one for Clemson football fans in Death Valley and we should see a lot of Tigers get into the game early and often.

Prediction:

Clemson 63, Louisville 7
