Here are our College Football picks against the spread for week 10 for some of the prominent games around the nation, including Alabama-LSU.

Each week, Rubbing the Rock gives you our picks against the spread for some of the top College Football games from around the country.

This week, there are several interesting games to watch.

Here are our spread predictions for Week 10 of the College Football season. Don’t forget that we will give our Clemson football spread prediction against the Louisville Cardinals Friday.

  • Georgia at Kentucky

Current Spread: Kentucky +9

Spread Prediction:

I don’t see anyway possible Georgia wins this game by more than nine. How are they going to score?

Kentucky has one of the best defenses in the nation and is playing really well along the lines of scrimmage.

This game screams 23-17 or 21-14. Something in that ballpark. I’m not sure if the Wildcats win the game straight-up, but I’ll definitely take them with the nine points.

  • Notre Dame at Northwestern

Current Spread: Northwestern +9.5

Spread Prediction:

Notre Dame is, in my opinion, the most overrated team in the country.

The problem is that the Fighting Irish just don’t play anybody. Northwestern is streaking right now, so they may be the biggest threat to knocking off Notre Dame, especially with the game being at home.

I’m taking Northwestern with the 9.5 to cover.

  • West Virginia at Texas

Current Spread: Texas -2

Spread Prediction:

I’m not really sure who to take here. Texas has homefield advantage, but I think West Virginia with Will Grier is the better team.

I think we saw the Longhorns get exposed last week in the loss to Oklahoma State. There’s no way Texas is able to stop West Virginia and I think the Mountaineers win the game straight-up.

  • Alabama at LSU

Current Spread: LSU +14.5

Spread Prediction:

In a game of top-four teams, Alabama is still a two-touchdown favorite on the road.

That tells you just how much Vegas thinks of the Crimson Tide.

I think this game could be close, but I’ve made a promise to take Alabama with the points until they prove me wrong.

I’m going to take Alabama -14.5 against LSU. If Tua is healthy, I think the Crimson Tide could take control of this one early. If he’s not, though, all bets are off.

Next. Clemson is No. 2 in initial CFB Playoff Poll. dark

So, to recap. We’re taking:

  • Kentucky +9 vs. Georgia
  • Northwestern +9.5 vs. Notre Dame
  • West Virginia +2 vs. Texas
  • Alabama -14.5 vs. LSU
