In two weeks, Clemson football will return to Death Valley to take on Louisville in a game that will once again be a noon kickoff.

It was announced Monday that Clemson football’s home game against Louisville in two weeks will be a noon kickoff.

The Tigers will now have played four of their five home games at noon this season. Of course one of those, Georgia Southern, was scheduled for 3:30 p.m. but had to be moved to noon due to the unfortunate circumstances of Hurricane Florence.

I do understand the frustration among Clemson football fans with all the noon games, but this was to be expected.

Unfortunately for the Tigers, none of their opponents have helped them out. Especially Louisville and Florida State, for instance.

Louisville without Lamar Jackson has been absolutely atrocious this season. The Cardinals are 2-5 with their only wins coming to Indiana State and Western Kentucky.

Louisville was absolutely blasted by Alabama to begin the season and they were beaten handily by Virginia (27-3), Georgia Tech (66-31) and Boston College (38-20).

This one should, in fact, be over very soon.

It will have to be an early morning again for Tiger fans, but it still should be a fun time in Death Valley here in two weeks.

Before getting back to the friendly confines of Clemson Memorial Stadium, though, the Tigers will travel down to Florida State to take on the Seminoles, who currently have a 4-3 record, at noon.

Just a quick thought on the Seminoles: Florida State could very well lose its last five games. The Seminoles play Clemson this week. Followed by NC State and Notre Dame on the road, before closing with Boston College and Florida at home.
