Where does Clemson football fit in the national landscape? Here’s where the Tigers fall heading into week eight of the College Football season.

The Clemson football team will be hosting the NC State Wolfpack this Saturday in Death Valley.

With the carnage that took place inside the top-10 last week, the Tigers are now in “win and you’re in” mode.

Even with that being said, there are plenty of analysts who don’t believe that Clemson is good enough to be in the top-four.

Here’s where the Tigers fall heading into week eight of the College Football season.

Lack of Respect…

Currently the Tigers are No. 3 in both the AP and Coaches’ Polls. While that may be the consensus, I’ve seen many people and analysts talking about how the Tigers wouldn’t be able to beat Ohio State, Notre Dame, Alabama, Georgia, LSU or several other teams.

According to a video on Sports Illustrated, the Tigers are the weakest of the top-four teams.

Unfortunately for those analysts and fans that want Clemson football to falter, I think they’re going to be very disappointed as the season progresses.

The Tigers are getting better and I think you’re going to see them do something the second half of the season that we don’t normally see: I think you’re going to see them handle their business and blowout some teams.

This program is always playing its best football near the end of the season and that will be the case this year, as well.

Next. Could every remaining home game be at noon?. dark

Clemson may be the “weakest” according to Sports Illustrated, but I believe the Tigers can compete with and beat any of the top-four teams and, honestly, I really like the chances for the Tigers against a team like Ohio State or Notre Dame.
