Clemson football will take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Saturday. Here is our pick against the spread for the match up.

The Clemson football team will take on the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Saturday afternoon in Winston-Salem.

The ACC Atlantic Division match up will be the final game for the Tigers before a much-needed bye week.

Here is our pick against the spread for the game.

Clemson Football Pick Against the Spread:

Current Spread: Wake Forest +20

Spread Prediction:

This game was at one point a 17-point spread. It has already climbed to 20 points and for good reason.

I really believe that this is a statement game for the Tigers. I think you’re going to see the cleanest and crispest performance from Clemson that you have seen all year from both sides of the ball.

Trevor Lawrence will throw for several touchdowns and you’ll see the Tigers ride Travis Etienne offensively. Defensively, it will be interesting to see how Isaiah Simmons matches up against Greg Dortch.

I think we’ll see the Tigers get out to an early lead and make a statement. I’m taking Clemson minus the points, even if the number has climbed three since Tuesday.

Over/Under: 61

Over/Under Prediction:

The total will go “over” and it may not even be close.

I know I’m putting a lot of confidence in an offense that hasn’t earned that respect yet, but I truly believe that the Clemson football offense will score 50-plus points and that will only leave Wake Forest to have to have a couple of scores for the number to go over.

So, to review, I think that the Tigers-Deacons go over the number and that Clemson covers the spread.
