Clemson football will go on the road for the first time Saturday to take on Texas A&M. Here’s the early Vegas odds for the match up.

The Clemson football team opened up the 2018 season with a win over Furman Saturday in Death Valley.

After picking up the home win, the Tigers will go on the road to take on the Texas A&M Aggies in College Station in a game that will be featured by ESPN College GameDay.

As we begin our coverage for the upcoming week, here is a look at the early Vegas odds and Over/Under for the game, via OddsShark.

Clemson Football Vegas Spread vs. Texas A&M:

Consensus Spread: Clemson -12.5

Consensus Over/Under: 56

Early Thoughts:

12.5 points seems about right for this game to open up on. The Tigers are the clear favorite and have more talent across the board.

But, Texas A&M has the home field advantage, which sometimes can be an equalizer.

I expect this game to be pretty close throughout the first and second quarter and then for Clemson to start to pull away in the third quarter.

I think at the end of the first half, you’re looking at maybe a 10-point lead or something close to that for Clemson. But, that will most likely be added on as the game progresses.

So far, it seems that the money is going Clemson’s way, so I wouldn’t be shocked to see this spread rise to 13 or maybe even 14 points by the time we get a little later in the week.

As long as the Tigers refrain from turning the ball over and don’t give up the big play on defense, they should be fine. I expect Texas A&M to come out juiced and ready to go, but they won’t be able to continue that adrenaline rush as the game continues.
