September 1: vs. Furman Paladins

Clemson opens up the season with a home game against the Furman Paladins.

This game should be low stress level and a lot of fun. That’s what I expect anyway. Clemson should be able to get  out to an early lead and extend it through the course of the game.

Furman has a solid group of rushers returning from last season in Darius Morehead and Kealand Dirks.

I’d expect the Paladins to run the ball and try to shorten the game, but it won’t matter.

Clemson jumps all over this one and we get to see a lot of fresh faces early.

Prediction: Clemson 61, Furman 7
