The preseason All-ACC team was released Tuesday afternoon. Clemson football led all teams with eight player represented on it.

Clemson football was named the heavy favorite to win the ACC Championship, according to the media at the 2018 ACC Football Kickoff.

On Tuesday, the preseason All-ACC team was released and it had eight Tigers on it.

Here’s a look at the eight guys to represent Clemson on the first-team All-ACC team:

  • Hunter Renfrow, WR
  • Mitch Hyatt, LT
  • Justin Falcinelli, C
  • Clelin Ferrell, DE
  • Austin Bryant, DE
  • Christian Wilkins, DT
  • Dexter Lawrence, DT
  • Kendall Joseph, LB

A ton of talent…

It’s been quite some time since one team made up the entire all-conference defensive line. As a matter of fact, I can’t remember a time in which it happened recently.

The Tigers have all four starters, according to the preseason All-ACC team, on the defensive line. Of course, this shouldn’t come as a surprise.

All four of the starters on the Clemson football defensive line have a chance to go in the first couple of rounds of the NFL Draft.

It was nice to see Kendall Joseph get some respect. Sometimes I feel like he is forgotten when people starting talking about this Clemson defense.

On the offensive side of the ball, both Hyatt and Falcinelli made it on the offensive line and Hunter Renfrow made it as a wide receiver, which comes as a little bit of a surprise to me.

AJ Dillon, the talented running back from Boston College, was named the preseason All-ACC Player of the Year. Christian Wilkins finished second in the voting, just three votes behind Dillon and ahead of NC State Quarterback Ryan Finley.

Next. Xavier Thomas, KJ Henry could be historically great. dark
