Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney held his Media Golf Outing Tuesday. Here are five takeaways from the event that officially welcomed in football season.

The official start to every Clemson football season is the annual Dabo Swinney Media Golf Outing.

The Golf Outing has become one of the biggest events among South Carolina media, and for good reason.

Clemson opens up the coaches for interview and then allows a chance to play a little golf on the job at The Reserve on Lake Keowee.

It can’t get much better than that, right?
