2019 Clemson football linebacker commit Bryton Constantin picked up another award at the Rivals Camp Series Thursday afternoon.

The 2019 Clemson football recruiting class is one of the top classes in the nation.

The Tigers’ talent continues to be affirmed by recruiting services across the country as they change star ratings and give positive analysis towards Clemson commits.

Clemson football linebacker commit Bryton Constantin picked up yet another accolade Thursday afternoon when he was named the Rivals 100 5-Star Challenge Linebacker MVP.

The Perfect Mixture…

Why Constantin is not a 5-star prospect is beyond me.

He competed with some of the best linebackers in the 2019 class and came away the MVP of the position. I think that speaks to the Clemson football coaching staff more than anything.

For the last couple of months, I’ve heard an unprecedented amount of complaining about the 2019 class from Tiger fans.

I think this award shows us that we need to sit back, relax and trust the coaches.

When I watch Constantin play, he shows me the perfect balance of physicality and athleticism.

Here’s a video of him making a play during the camp.

That’s the kind of guy that can come in and make an impact right away. He is extremely athletic, but also can be a head-hunter and stop the run. The recruiting services are always a step behind the Clemson coaching staff.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see Constantin upgraded from a 4-star to a 5-star by most services before it’s all said and done, but either way there’s no questioning his talent.

I’m really looking forward to seeing him get on campus next season and seeing what kind of impact he can make as a freshman.
