2. Devontae Dobbs, 5-star OL

Back in late May, Devontae Dobbs announced his top-eight schools.

To no surprise, Clemson made the list with Southern Cal, Georgia, Auburn, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Florida State and Ohio State.

From what I can gather, the experts feel as if Michigan State and Ohio State are the favorites to win Dobbs’ commitment, but that his recruitment could pretty much be wide open.

He has visited Clemson several times since last year and it’s clear that there’s an interest there.

It will be interesting to see if he uses one of his five official visits to come back to Clemson. If he does that, I think the Tigers are probably in good shape.

Dobbs’ recruitment is far from over, but this would be a huge “get” for Clemson, literally.

He is a very talented offensive tackle that could probably step in and play alongside Jackson Carman in 2019 right away. I’d love to see him in orange and purple and I think there’s at least a chance it happens.
