The 2018 Clemson football summer enrollees are just about ready to move in. Here’s a look at when they’ll be on campus and who they are.

The 2018 Clemson football roster is almost complete.

The Tigers have veterans and they have freshman who enrolled early already on campus. All that’s left to join the team is the summer enrollees.

Clemson still has eight guys yet to enroll as we head into the dog days of summer.

Those guys will move in and join the team on Sunday, June 24.

Mastering the Transition…

Here’s a look at the eight summer enrollees for the Tigers:

  • Justyn Ross, 5-star WR
  • Kyler McMichael, 4-star DB
  • Mario Goodrich, 4-star ATH
  • Justin Mascoll, 4-star DE
  • Lyn-J Dixon, 4-star RB
  • Jake Venables, 3-star LB
  • Jordan McFadden, 3-star OL
  • BT Potter, 3-star K

When I look at that list, I see a lot of talent that has yet to even join the team. I’m really excited about Justyn Ross and his potential.

Kyler McMichael and Mario Goodrich are both guys that I think could come in and compete for playing time this fall.

BT Potter, believe it or not, was on campus this week for Dabo Swinney’s football camp. He laced a 60-yard field goal off the ground in the indoor practice facility.

All of these young guys have bright careers ahead of them at Clemson. I’m really looking forward to them getting on campus, getting their number and becoming acquainted with the team.

It can be a tough transition going from high school to college and that’s no different for athletes. The guys will begin going through workouts and school, as well. Luckily, they have some great mentors in the upperclassmen to help them get adjusted and prepare for the upcoming season.
