Clemson football fans are some of the best in the nation. That’s why Death Valley was ranked the No. 2 loudest stadium in the nation.

Anybody that knows anything about atmospheres in College Football knows that Clemson has one of the best in the nation.

When you show up to Tiger Town on a game day weekend, you’re going to see a sea of orange outside Memorial Stadium nearly a day ahead of time.

When the stadium opens, crowds will begin filing in and getting settled for the game, no matter if it’s a nooner, a mid-afternoon or a night start.

When Clemson football fans see their team atop the hill and that cannon fires, you’re going to hear a deafening roar from 80,000 plus all in unison. Things only get louder when the defense takes the field.

With that being said, West Coast College Football released the “loudest College Football stadiums measured by highest recorded Decibel level.”

Clemson football was ranked No. 2.

Nothing like it…

Look, I’ve got no clue how loud it truly gets in Husky Stadium in Washington. I’ve never been.

I can attest to the fact, though, that Death Valley is as good as it gets. It’s electrifying each and every time I step foot in Memorial Stadium and I know for a fact that I’ve seen the “Decibel Meter” on the screen reach 135, maybe even 140 before.

I’m not convinced that this list is very accurate, but it is interesting.

I’m sure Alabama gets loud and I know that the Swamp down in Florida gets really loud. If I were guessing from what I’ve gathered from people around the nation, though, Clemson ranks up there with any of them.

It’s an atmosphere that you just can’t describe.

Honestly, it’s something that is just special to Clemson. Whether the Tiger faithful are the loudest or not, it’s clear that Death Valley creates an atmosphere unlike any other.
