Clemson football offered 4-star 2020 linebacker Kevin Swint Friday and, with the offer, Swint said that the Tigers are his favorite.

Swint talked to The Clemson Insider after receiving the offer and it’s clear that he has a lot of respect for Dabo Swinney and his staff.

Swint said that he had waited for a Clemson offer for quite some time and will be on campus later this summer to visit the school.

As you can see, Swint is a 2020 prospect, meaning that he would not be part of this recruiting cycle, but the next.

With that being said, I really like what I see from him on the field and he’s only going to get better over the next couple of years.

247 sports has placed three crystal ball predictions on Swint, two of which have gone to Georgia and one to Clemson.

The 4-star prospect has offers from Alabama, Ohio State, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, and many others.

I think that you could actually see Swint rise up in the next few months to becoming a 5-star linebacker. He is, without a doubt, a talented linebacker and I’d love to see him don the orange and purple.

We wouldn’t expect a decision anytime soon, but it will be interesting to see how his recruitment goes. Right now, I’d say that it is a battle between Clemson and Georgia. He is a native of Carrollton, Georgia and it would seem that he will want to be a part of one of the premiere football programs close to his hometown.
