Clemson football 2019 linebacker commit Bryton Constantin and four other athletes with Clemson offers had good weekends at the Nike The Opening Dallas regional in Texas.

Bryton Constantin(University Lab, Baton Rouge, LA) has had a good couple of weeks. He committed to Clemson football on April 14 and on Sunday, he found out that he will be participating in Nike The Opening finals on June 25 which will also be held in Texas.

Constantin, a three-star recruit, is one of five Louisiana athletes and a regional record 17 recruits that received the prestigious invitations.

Derek Stingley Jr.(Baton Rouge, LA), Daxton Hill(Tulsa, OK), Nathan Pickering(Seminary, MS) and Ishmael Sopsher(Amite, LA), all Clemson targets, are also invited to the finals. According to 247Sports, Stingley is the No. 2-ranked cornerback, Hill, the No. 2 safety, Sopsher, the No. 1 defensive tackle and Pickering, the No. 4 defensive end.

Stingley was named MVP for the defensive backs. Hill had a regional best 143.76 sparq rating, Stingley, 142.74(second) and Constantin, 110.67 all top 30 Dallas scores.

Hill also won the “fastest man” 40-yard race. In the race that included participants with the top five 40s, Hill barely out leaned Stingley at the tape and both finished with a time of 4.3.

Thus far, Constantin and receiver Frank Ladson(Homestead, FL) are the only Clemson commits to make the finals.

Last year, six members of the recruiting class competed in the finals. That group included Trevor Lawrence, KJ Henry, Jackson Carman, Xavier Thomas, Kyler McMichael and Justyn Ross.

The Tigers are in Pickering’s top 10 and Hill’s final five. But are currently not in Stingley’s final five and Sopsher hasn’t narrowed down his choices yet.
