The 2019 Clemson football recruiting class could be one of the largest in school history. The Tigers were in the top group for a 4-star linebacker.

It seems as if Clemson football is in every top recruit’s top group.

That, in my opinion, is a testament to what Dabo Swinney has built here in Tiger Town. Every single prospect in the country, even if they aren’t truly interested, is intrigued enough to pay Death Valley a visit.

On Tuesday, 4-star linebacker Kalen DeLoach announced his top-nine.

DeLoach, a talented product out of Savannah, Georgia, is slated to be at Clemson’s spring game this coming Saturday.

The Tigers are in a group with Auburn, Florida State, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, LSU, Michigan, and Texas A&M.

It’ll be interesting to see where he decides to take his official visits. DeLoach is expected to make a decision after making those visits during football season.

Analysis:

When I look at this guy, I see someone with great closing speed and a knack for getting to the ball. He is a head-hunter and fits the mold of what you look for in a linebacker.

I would say that I think he’ll need a little work before he’s able to play a ton of quality snaps at the collegiate level.

Of course, DeLoach still has a whole senior year to go through first.

He has offers from basically every program in the country and it’s clear to see that he’s going to be a special talent at the next level in a few years no matter where he decides to go.
