Clemson Football: Don’t Sleep on Adam Choice in 2018

CHARLOTTE, NC - DECEMBER 02: Adam Choice /

Much talk surrounding the RB position for Clemson football has been on Tavien Feaster and Travis Etienne, but there’s another RB back this year, as well.

Much of the talk surrounding the running back position in 2018 for Clemson football has rested on junior Tavien Feaster and sophomore Travis Etienne.

And, for good reason.

Both guys, especially Etienne, are extremely exciting. I believe that Etienne has the talent to be one of the best running backs in school history.

That being said, though, there’s another running back on the roster that could take some quality snaps in 2018.

That guy is Adam Choice.

A Talented Veteran:

Everyone seems to forget that Adam Choice won the starting job at running back during his freshman year.

A couple of tough injuries set him back and it seemed that he was never able to recover to his former self as a freshman.

Now, the senior looks to be back in full form.

The coaches have been raving about him all spring and it seems that he is doing a solid job competing with both Feaster and Etienne.

While Choice will most likely not be the starter this season, he will without a doubt see meaningful snaps. Choice is a guy that does his due diligence in pass protection and runs the ball hard between the tackles.

I think you could see him in some third down situations and if Clemson decided to go with some two running back looks, as well.

He will most likely be a guy that looks to give both Feater and Etienne breathers, but he certainly shouldn’t be slept on in 2018.
