4-star 2019 defensive back Devin Bush, out of New Orleans, Louisiana, has Clemson football in his top-five as his recruitment heats up.

The 2019 Clemson football recruiting cycle promises to be a big one.

The Tigers could take as many as 30 in that class as they try to replace seniors and quite a few juniors that could leave for the NFL.

One position that Clemson football will look to add a few will be defensive back.

2019 4-star cornerback Devin Bush announced his top-five via his Twitter last week.

2019 Recruiting Profile:

Name: Devin Bush

Home Town: New Orleans, Louisiana

Height: 5-11

Weight: 190

Position: Cornerback

Star Rating: 4-star

Analysis:

According to Bush’s Twitter account, he is considering Tennessee, LSU, Auburn, Oklahoma, and Clemson.

Bush is a really talented cornerback with potential to be an NFL-caliber player.

He has great athleticism and seems to be very versatile in defending both the run and the pass. Right now, LSU is the heavy favorite to win his services.

Obviously, he’s considering several other options, but it would take a lot to pull him out of his home state.

Of course, Clemson has proved to be able to go into other states and get in top recruits. *See Travis Etienne in Louisiana and Justyn Ross in Alabama for recent examples.*

The key, like any other recruit, will be getting him on campus. Bush has said that he’d like to make a decision before his senior year of high school.

If that’s the case, I’d imagine that he’s going to take visits to schools this summer and may even attend the All-In Cookout.

If Clemson football can get him in Tiger Town, it sells itself. It will be interesting to see how his recruitment goes and this would be a solid “get” for the Tigers, should he decide to play for the Orange & Purple.
