Clemson football signee BT Potter has a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship and free Chick-fil-A for a year with the help of Tiger fans.

One of the major signees for the 2018 Clemson football class was kicker BT Potter. Potter is a guy unlike anything that the Tigers have recruited at the kicker position in years past.

High School Blitz is running a poll to name the Chick-fil-A of Anderson player of the year and Potter is part of that contest.

Should he win the vote on Twitter, he will move onto the finals. The winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship and one year of free Chick-fil-A.

Potter quoted the Tweet to reach more Clemson football fans as a result.

Kickin’ it:

I would encourage Tiger fans to take time to vote for Potter and look for the finals poll, as well.

Who wouldn’t want a chance to win free Chick-fil-A for a year?

On the field, I think BT Potter has a chance to come in and possibly win the starting position from the get-go.

He has a strong leg and is very accurate. Potter is ranked as the nation’s No. 3 kicker and it’s clear that he will have a role very early for Clemson football.

He is capable of kicking the ball into the end zone on kickoffs and has a solid field goal range. He’s not an early enrollee, so Tiger fans won’t see him until the fall, but I do believe he will provide solid competition at that kicker spot.

It will be interesting to see how he transitions to the collegiate level, but I’m of the opinion that Potter could leave Clemson as the best kicker since Chandler Catanzaro.
