Clemson football dominated Miami from the start to finish, beating the Hurricanes 38-3.

With the win, the Tigers picked up their third-straight ACC Championship and unofficially locked up their spot in the College Football Playoff.

Analysis:

This game was over from the time it kicked off. Clemson was just the better team in every sense of the phrase.

The Tigers came out, took care of business, and put Miami away.

I was impressed with the defensive effort, especially Christian Wilkins. He was a one-man wrecking crew in the first half and wreaked havoc in that Miami backfield all night.

That’s really all you can say about that.

It was a great win and exactly what you would want to see as a Clemson football fan heading into the College Football Playoff.

What’s next?

Clemson will await the final College Football Playoff poll that will be released on Sunday. The Tigers will, most likely, be heading to New Orleans to play in the semifinal. As far as who their opponent will be, your guess is as good as mine.

It could be either Ohio State, Georgia, or Alabama.
