Rivalry Week 2017: Games for Clemson football fans to watch

Rivalry week 2017 is finally upon us. Here are a few games around the nation for Clemson football fans to keep their eyes on this weekend.

It’s finally upon us.

One of the best weekends of football every year is rivalry weekend. Obviously, Clemson football fans will be watching the Tigers take on the Gamecocks this weekend, but there are many other good games around the country.

Not all of these games are rivalry games, necessarily, but here are some games for Tiger fans to watch this weekend.

Some of these are important just because of a conference aspect or maybe even because of the College Football Playoff race. Others are just intriguing games due to the rivalry portion of the weekend.

Thoughts:

The Friday slate of games is not necessarily as strong as it usually is, but Saturday is going to be great.

I’m looking forward to see the annual rivalries, but I’m really excited to see Alabama at Auburn. That game has huge College Football Playoff implications and it should be a hard-fought battle.
