Clemson Football: NC State players and Tiger fans have a little fun
A Clemson football season can be stressful. Sometimes, it’s good to just sit back, relax, and have a little fun when you can.
The 2017 Clemson football season has just two regular-season games left on the schedule.
The Tigers will host The Citadel for the annual purple-out and last home game of the year on Saturday and then will travel to in-state rival South Carolina the following week to close out November.
It can be stressful at times to be a football fan.
A couple of weeks ago, one of those stress-giving games unfolded right before the eyes of Clemson football fans everywhere.
The Tigers held on for a 38-31 win over the NC State Wolfpack in Raleigh to take control of the ACC Atlantic.
During the game, NC State defensive end Bradley Chubb decided he would steal Clemson quarterback Kelly Bryant’s towel three times.
As a result, Clemson football fan Amanda King decided to have a little fun and help him out by sending a gift of his own. Amanda sent her plan to Rubbing the Rock.
King’s gift made it to the NC State athletic department and was delivered to Bradley Chubb. How do we know?
Starting running back Nyheim Hines took to Twitter:

I absolutely love this. Now, a few Clemson football fans are still mad over the whole towel thing, but I think you’ve got to move on.
I think it’s really nice to see two schools compete and then still have a little fun off the field. Do the games get emotional at times? Absolutely.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t all come together and have a little laugh at the expense of a towel a couple of weeks later. Both Hines and Chubb are extremely talented players and it will be interesting to see how both Clemson and NC State close out their respective seasons.
