Clemson Football vs. NC State 2017: Official Injury Report
Clemson football will travel up to Raleigh to take on the NC State Wolfpack in a pivotal ACC Atlantic matchup. Here’s the official injury report.
Clemson football will travel to take on the NC State Wolfpack on Saturday.
As we’ve been saying the entire week, this game is the de facto ACC Atlantic Division Championship game.
Unfortunately, the Tigers have been an injury-plagued team this season with several nagging injuries throughout the year.
Here’s the official injury report via ClemsonTigers.com for the game against NC State.
Out for this game:
Garrett Williams, knee
Marcus Edmond, foot
Mark Fields, foot
Thoughts:
Marcus Edmond and Mark Fields will be out for this game as well. This was expected, in my opinion.
Both of those guys have had nagging injuries and that has led to a depleted defensive backfield for Clemson football.
Hopefully both Edmond and Fields will be able to go against Florida State. They seem to be progressing, but just aren’t quite there yet.
Dexter Lawrence seems to have recovered from his leg injury as well as Kelly Bryant, who looked just fine last week.
Both of those guys, according to the coaching staff, are just fine, which is great news for Tiger fans.
Lawrence took a chop-block to the leg last week against Georgia Tech.
Next: Deshaun Watson done for season with a torn ACL
Clemson can’t afford any more injuries, especially to the defensive backs. Those DBs are young and the depth is starting to take a hit. Hopefully, the Tigers can get through this one without any major injuries as they will need all hands on deck as we get deeper into November.
