Clemson football will travel up to Carter-Finley Stadium to take on NC State Saturday. The Wolfpack, who had a few injury issues last week, will be full-go.

The NC State Wolfpack had four guys go out due to injury against Notre Dame last week, but it seems they will all be back to take on Clemson.

The Tigers come into this one 7-1 with the ACC Atlantic Division on their minds.

It was thought early in the week that Wolfpack running back Nyheim Hines could be held out of this one due to a sprained ankle he suffered against the Irish.

It seems that won’t be the case, though.

Backing the Pack reported that Hines will be back and ready to go after talking to coach Dave Doeren during the ACC Media Teleconference on Wednesday.

Thoughts:

Obviously, we won’t know for sure about Hines or some of the other guys until they get on the field Saturday. It is great to hear that the injury wasn’t serious, though.

The last thing you want to hear, no matter what team you are a fan of, is that a guy suffered a serious injury that means he’s going to miss an extended amount of time.

Like I said earlier in the week, Hines creates a completely different dynamic for that Wolfpack offense.

In my opinion, Ryan Finley isn’t going to beat the Clemson football defense.

He is very conservative and, for the most part, will make the right decision. But, he’s not going to throw the bomb down the field or thread the needle in a tight window all too often. I think we saw that against Notre Dame.

That means they will need to rely on the play-making ability of Hines and other guys like Jaylen Samuels.

With or without Hines, I think we’re in for a low-scoring affair. Both defenses are extremely talented and I believe both offenses will have a tough time scoring a lot of points. I still give Clemson an advantage, however, because of the amount of playmakers the Tigers possess.
