Analysis:
Clemson football comes into this one as a three-touchdown favorite for a reason. Syracuse has a really good offense, but they’re just not on the level of the Tigers.
The Orange run an up-tempo spread and that works against a lot of solid defenses, but I’m not sure it will against Clemson’s.
Syracuse also possesses one of the statistically worst defenses in the ACC. The Orange are ranked 46th in the nation and that seems okay, but you have to look at the offenses they have faced, as well.
The best offense Syracuse has faced was NC State, where they gave up 33.
Prediction:
All that being said, here’s what I see happening:
I see the up-tempo spread offense being shut down. A lot of three-and-outs or quick drives will lead to the Syracuse defense being on the field for a large portion of the game.
Clemson football will wear them down with that running game and take advantage of some big plays.

The Tigers are just too talented, in my humble opinion.
