The Clemson football team will host Wake Forest for Homecoming. Here’s our prediction for the matchup in Memorial Stadium at noon today.
The Clemson football team will host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons for Homecoming today.
The Tigers improved to 5-0 with a win over Virginia Tech last week and now are looking to advance in ACC play against Wake Forest.
The Demon Deacons present a solid defense with lots of experience. Wake Forest also plays really hard.
Those intangibles have led to them a 4-1 record with the only loss being to Florida State last week.
I’d expect the Demon Deacons to come ready to play. This is a huge game for them and they will want to try and prove that they can hang with Clemson on the field.
Prediction:
Dabo Swinney spent an entire press conference on Tuesday ranting and talking up Wake Forest. It was epic.
That being said, when Swinney goes on rants in his press conference, the Tigers just show up more focused and ready to go.
I think this is the game that Clemson football’s offense comes to life and transforms into “midseason form.”
In the end, I believe the Tigers are able to get some points on the board and the defense is able to hold Wake Forest to little-to-no points.
It’s going to be a long day in Death Valley for Wake Forest and, at the end, I think all Tiger fans will come away with a good feeling from this one with a chance to a lot of guys get into the game and have success.
