The Clemson football team will host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Saturday. Here is the pick against the spread for the match up.

The Clemson football team is 4-1 against the spread on the season.

The Tigers come into a matchup against a very solid Wake Forest team with the hopes of keeping their momentum going.

There were several things to be happy about after the Virginia Tech game, but also plenty of room for improvement.

I believe this could be the week the offense hits their stride.

That being said, here is our spread prediction for the Tigers’ Homecoming game against the Demon Deacons in just three days.

Clemson Football Spread Prediction:

Current Spread: Clemson -23

Spread Prediction: Clemson football has beaten the spread in every single game besides Boston College thus far.

This game has an eerily similar vibe as the Boston College game. The difference? Dabo Swinney went on a rant.

I know you may think that means a lot, but it does. There’s no way Swinney is going to let his team sleep walk against Wake Forest. The Tigers will be ready to go from the get-go and that makes the difference.

Clemson football will cover the spread fairly easily this week. Wake Forest has a veteran defense with a lot of play makers, but they haven’t seen anything like what Clemson presents.

I respect what they are doing up in Winston Salem, but this week they will have to take a loss and it won’t be close.

Current Over/Under: 47.5

Over/Under Prediction: Clemson football went “under” against Virginia Tech for the second-straight week.

It would seem that the trend is for the Tigers to go under. Maybe the game ends up something like 35-7 or 38-3 or 41-3. That would be a typical score that may come out of this one, but I think the Tigers will be sharply focused this week.

I’ve been burned by it in the past, but I think the two go for “over” the 47.5

I believe Clemson football will go “over” the 47.5 on their own, but I still won’t feel great about it until seeing the team on the field Saturday.
