Who would have thought that Clemson and Wake Forest would have one loss between the two of them entering their week six matchup. Dave Clawson has this Demon Deacons program believing they can win.
Clemson has already etched their name in the record books, with three top-15 victories before the month of October. Despite losing a plethora of production, the Tigers continue to play their best when the lights are brightest.

Thoughts
Wake Forest has one of the top defenses in the nation led by first-year defensive coordinator, Jay Sawvel. The Tigers may be in for a taste of their own medicine as the Deacs enter the week leading the country in tackles for loss.
Judging from their performance against Virginia Tech, Clemson deserves to be heavy favorites. This Tigers defense has a chance to go down as the best in school history. Brent Venables has a special collection of talent at his dispense, capable of adapting to just about any offensive attack. It will be difficult for Wake Forest to move the ball against the Tigers, let alone score.
Clemson’s offense enters the week averaging 36 points per game and they haven’t even scratched the surface of their potential. Kelly Bryant’s confidence continues to grow with each game. He has ran the ball well from the start and shown surprising accuracy and touch down the field.
It’s vital that Wake Forest contain Bryant on the ground if they have any hopes of winning. So far, that has been easier said than done for opposing defenses.
