Clemson football will travel to Virginia Tech this Saturday. The Tigers may be without several players due to injury. Here’s the updated injury report.

The Clemson football team will travel up to Blacksburg, Virginia to take on the Virginia Tech Hokies on Saturday.

The Tigers will be featured on ESPN College GameDay for the second week this season.

Clemson football improved to 4-0 with a 34-7 win over Boston College on Saturday.

It was not the prettiest win and there is a lot that the Tigers will need to fix before making the trip.

What may have made the game worse on Saturday is the injuries sustained by Clemson football.

Here is the early injury report for the Tigers heading into Virginia Tech:

Clemson Football Injury Report:

  • Trayvon Mullen

Perhaps the biggest loss for Clemson may have been cornerback Trayvon Mullen on Saturday. Mullen suffered a head injury and is currently going through concussion protocol.

Right now, the coaching staff doesn’t know exactly when he will be back. Concussions can vary so much and it very well may be a situation where he returns this week or he may be out for several weeks.

I would expect him to be out against Virginia Tech, as of right now.

  • Dorian O’Daniel

Dorian O’Daniel went down with a leg injury on Saturday. According to Dabo Swinney, he will be back this week.

He will have to take care of that quad, but O’Daniel, at least as of right now, will not miss any significant time.

  • Mark Fields

Mark Fields pulled a muscle in his glute area.

His availability for Saturday is still up in the air, but right now he is listed as “Questionable.”

  • Other Injuries

Adam Choice, ankle: Choice should be back this week.

Maverick Morris: Morris shouldn’t miss any time, he will just have to take a few extra ice baths to take some of the swelling and soreness away.

There are a couple of other guys who are beat up and there are the obvious injuries including Greg Huegel (ACL), D.J. Greenlee (knee sprain), and Logan Rudolph (shoulder).
