The Clemson football vs. Virginia Tech game time has been announced. The Tigers will travel up to Blacksburg, Virginia on September 30th.

Clemson football will travel to Virginia Tech to take on the Hokies on Saturday, September 30th.

Many Virginia Tech fans have been hoping the game will be a night game and even be a College GameDay destination.

The Hokie fans, at least as for the game time, got their wish.

The game will be at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Thoughts:

If Clemson football can get past Boston College this week and then Virginia Tech on the road the next week, they will have gotten through the month of September unscathed.

One of my keys to the season was for the Tigers to get through September with just one loss.

It looks as if they will do that and, if they can be undefeated, they will be in great position going forward.

Virginia Tech could very well be a top-15 or maybe even a top-10 team by this week.

I believe the Tigers should be the favorite, but this certainly will not be an easy game. I expect Virginia Tech, just like Louisville, to come out hyped up and ready to give their best outing.

The Hokies defeated West Virginia in Week 1 and completely destroyed East Carolina 64-17 last Saturday.

Virginia Tech will host Old Dominion this Saturday and are currently ranked No. 13 in the AP Poll.

Next: Clemson heavily favored over Boston College

This may be one of the toughest tests remaining on the 2017 Clemson football schedule. After Virginia Tech, the Tigers still have Georgia Tech and Florida State at home and NC State on the road as games to highlight.

Of course, the Tigers must focus on Boston College this week.
