The Clemson football program welcomes the 13th ranked Auburn Tigers to Death Valley for a week two showdown. Here’s all the information you need to stay on top of today’s action.

Clemson’s matchup with Auburn may hold bigger implications than Ohio State vs. Oklahoma when it’s all said and done. Both Tigers have the talent and experience in the trenches, to go along with their explosive playmakers on the edge.

A loss for either team would not end their playoff hopes. Since the system was put in place in 2015, there has been at least one team with one loss in the playoff. Clemson could lose to Auburn this week, run the table and likely make it in the playoff. The same can be said for Auburn should they run the table and defeat Alabama en route to an SEC Championship.

Here’s all the information you need to watch Clemson take on the Auburn Tigers.

This is an important game for Clemson regardless of the result. The Tigers are going to find out what starting quarterback, Kelly Bryant is truly made of tonight. He was impressive against Kent State, however, the Golden Flashes are not even comparable to Auburn’s defense.

In the modern world of football, you are as good as your quarterback. Clemson has the talent to return to the College Football Playoff for a third consecutive year. That being said, I was taking a wait-and-see approach with Bryant, before giving them a real shot at doing so. Tonight will prove whether or not Bryant has what it takes to lead the Tigers to a championship.

Next: 3 keys to a victory vs. Auburn

As long as he does not perform poorly, Clemson is in good shape. If Bryant can be average at the least, the Tigers have the surrounding talent to push for a playoff spot down the road.
