The Clemson football team is scheduled to take on the Auburn Tigers on Saturday. Here is the latest weather report and updates on Hurricane Irma.

Clemson football will take on the Auburn Tigers in a nationally televised game on Saturday night.

As of right now, Hurricane Irma is not expected to affect the game, but we will get to that in just a moment.

Here is the weather report for the Clemson football game against the War Eagles tomorrow, via AccuWeather.

Kent State at Clemson Weather Report:

When: Saturday, September 2nd at 12:02 p.m.

High: 80

Low: 57

Chance of Rain: 4%

Humidity: 65%

Wind: NE 8 MPH

Sunrise: 7:10 a.m.

Sunset: 7:47 p.m.

Temp at Game Time: 73

Overall:

What a gorgeous day. You can’t ask for anything better than this. The high is in the high 70’s or low  80’s with basically no chance of rain.

It’s going to be nearly a perfect day to tailgate and to cheer the Tigers in the Valley that night. Now, if you get cold easily, you may want to pack a jacket because I’ve seen people say it’s cold outside when it’s in the 60’s and when the sun goes down, it will certainly be in that range.

Now, onto the Hurricane.

Hurricane Irma Updates:

The track for Hurricane Irma has changed drastically over the last couple of days. Irma took an extreme westward shift and yesterday, as a matter of fact, was heading straight for the upstate of South Carolina.

Now it seems that Irma could miss South Carolina altogether. The state will still feel some effects from the Hurricane, like rain and heavy wind. It also is still possible that the Hurricane could make its way through the upstate and cause some flooding issues as well.

The biggest concern may be traffic for Clemson football fans.

I’d suggest that you go ahead and book a hotel if you’re going to be in the upstate and, due to those evacuating and other factors, you may not be able to get where you want to. Make sure you keep checking your local forecast and, for those that will be in the track of the hurricane, please stay safe above all else!
