Not many national pundits are giving Clemson football a chance to make it back to the CFB Playoff, but here’s why the Tigers can make it back in 2017.

The reigning 2016 National Championship Clemson Tigers are, by most accounts, expected to take a step back in 2017.

Clemson football loses the likes of quarterback Deshaun Watson, wide receivers Mike Williams and Artavis Scott, tight end Jordan Leggett, running back Wayne Gallman, and defensive mainstays Ben Boulware and Carlos Watkins.

As a matter of fact, many mainstream media members don’t even have the Tigers finishing in the top two of the ACC Atlantic. Honestly, only half of our Rubbing the Rock staff have Clemson in the final four.

Will Clemson football truly take a step back in 2017 after winning the national championship less than eight months ago?

Are the Tigers just a “one-year-wonder” as many have described them as?

I’m convinced that’s just complete foolishness. Here are 10 reasons in which the Tigers will find themselves back in the College Football Playoff this time around.
