Clemson Football Recruiting: Arjei Henderson offer breakdown
The Clemson Tigers coaching staff has been busy on the recruiting trail since the start of the summer camp circuit. Today I will be breaking down the offer of 2019 wide receiver, Arjei Henderson.

Hailing from the great state of Texas, Arjei Henderson is one of the top wide receiver prospects in the junior class. While Clemson and Henderson are a match made in heaven, it will be difficult to lure him away from Tom Herman and the Longhorns.
Strengths:
The first thing that jumps out on Henderson’s tape is his body control. Not only is he able to make people miss in space, but, he can contort his body in the air to make tough catches in traffic. Henderson is also adept at getting off of the jam, he stems his routes well and uses his hands to create separation.

Weaknesses:
While Henderson has an explosive release off of the line of scrimmage, he must work to clean up his route running. Being as though he is an elite athlete, he does not have to run crisp routes to beat lesser, high school defensive backs. In college, every route must be exact.

Outlook:
Though he is just a rising junior, Henderson already holds 46 scholarship offers from nearly every elite program across the country. At the moment, Texas holds the lion’s share of the crystal ball predictions for Henderson, with Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Oregon in hot pursuit.
Clemson’s biggest advantage in his recruitment is their history of putting wide receivers into the NFL. No other program in the country can boast a track record remotely similar to Clemson’s in terms of wide receiver play. That being said, the Tigers haven’t made much noise in the state of Texas under Dabo Swinney.
If Clemson hopes to land Henderson, they better prepare for a fierce recruiting battle in the Lone Star state.
