Elite 2019 linebacker prospect, Owen Pappoe came away impressed from his recent visit to Death Valley. The Clemson football program is at it again in the state of Georgia.

Pappoe is one of the top prospects in the 2019 recruiting class with over three dozen offers from nearly every elite program across the country. The elite Georgia prospect took to twitter to express his opinion of the Tigers following his time on Clemson’s campus yesterday.
I am not surprised one bit by Pappoe’s statement. The Tigers have one of the most beautiful campuses in America to go along with their state-of-the-art facilities. While that will certainly wow a prospect, the Tigers also have genuine, knowledgable coaches from top to bottom. Most prospects who visit Clemson walk away enamored with the family atmosphere in and around the program.
Pappoe is from perennial powerhouse, Grayson high school in Loganville, Georgia. This is vital to Clemson, because of their deep ties to the program. Current cornerback, Ryan Carter and incoming freshman quarterback, Chase Brice also went to Grayson. The most notable relationship to Grayson is current defensive backs coach, Mickey Conn. Conn was the head coach at Grayson for 16 years before taking an analyst job at Clemson.

Clemson also has a number of players on their roster from Pappoe’s native state of Georgia. At the moment, Pappoe is viewed as a Florida State lean. The Seminoles hold 14 crystal ball predictions for the 5-star linebacker.
It would be huge for Clemson to land Pappoe due to his immense talent and because it would keep him from landing with in-conference rival, Florida State.
