Early reactions to Xavier Thomas committing to the Clemson Tigers
IMG Academy defensive end Xavier Thomas made his decision today, and the Clemson football fans have much to talk about before the Spring game begins. And Twitter will continue talking about this commitment until signing day is over.
Thomas is regarded as the best player in the 2018 class by ESPN and is ranked second, third, and sixth, respectively by 247sports, Scout and Rivals football recruiting sites.

The Florence, SC native and former Wilson High star was thought to be leaning towards a commitment to South Carolina, and he attended their Spring game last weekend. But today, he selected the Tigers despite having a previous future commitment date set for his birthday, on December 20.
