Clemson Tigers offer 2018 Penn State commit Micah Parsons
The Clemson Tigers recently offered five-star defensive end prospect, Micah Parsons from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Parsons has been committed to Penn State since March 27th of last year, he took to twitter to announce his offer.
It will likely be difficult for Dabo Swinney and company to flip Parsons from Penn State, however, if anybody could do it, the reigning National Champions can.
Parsons holds offers from a host of schools including the likes of Alabama, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Georgia. Parsons would be a strong addition to what is already an
impressive 2018 recruiting class
for the Tigers. Clemson recently secured a commitment from
four-star defensive end, Justin Mascoll.
As a junior, Parsons racked up 121 total tackles, 27 tackles for loss, 18.5 sacks, and one defensive touchdown. There is not much that Parsons cannot do defensively, he has an explosive first step, he’s an able run stopper and he has a great motor.
It will be interesting to see how Micah Parsons recruitment heats up as we are about nine months out from National Signing Day. Should Clemson get him on campus for a visit, I believe they could make some noise.
