Big Ten West

Iowa won the Big Ten West last season and is considered the favorite win the division yet again.

The only team that may have something to say about it? Wisconsin.

Unfortunately for Badger fans, Wisconsin has one of the toughest schedules out of the Big Ten. They will play LSU to open the season (which has no affect on their ability to win the division), travel to Michigan State and Iowa, and will play Ohio State at home.

I just can’t see the Badgers surviving those games and I believe they will lose- at the very least- two conference games.

That bodes well for Iowa, who draws Penn State and Michigan, from the other side. Even if the Hawkeyes lost to the Wolverines, they would still have to lose two more assuming they beat Wisconsin and they get the Badgers at home.

Here some key games to watch within the division:

  • Wisconsin at Iowa, October 22nd

Division Winner: Iowa
