Charone Peake

Charone Peake needs to have a huge game. Peake took over the boundary spot when Mike Williams went down with a neck injury on the first drive of the season for Clemson football. Charone played well last week in that role and made some plays, but now he has to step up on a bigger stage.

The Louisville secondary is nothing compared to last year’s and Peake has to take advantage of that. He needs to beat the guys off the line of scrimmage and get behind the defense. We know if he does that, Watson will find him and that bodes well for the Clemson offense.

The Tigers need Charone Peake to perform well because if he does, that opens a whole host of play options for the offense. It also gives play makers like Artavis Scott, Germone Hopper, and Ray Ray McCloud more room to do what they do best.
