The Clemson football program has grown greatly over the past few seasons, gaining national respect. Here are 5 teams the Tigers should book for the future.

The Clemson football program has grown immensely over the past few seasons. The Tigers have seen victories over top-tier programs including LSU, Oklahoma, and Ohio State. Clemson football will also have a chance to compete for an ACC Championship this week, as well as be College Football Playoff contenders when it’s all said and done. But, what about the future? What about life after Deshaun Watson? Who could we possibly see next as “big name opponents” coming into Death Valley in the future?

Well, the next two years Clemson has booked the Auburn Tigers for a home-and-home series in which the Tigers of Clemson will travel back to Jordan-Hare Stadium for the second time in six years. Then, in 2017 War Eagle will make a trip back down to Death Valley, where their streak was ended back in 2011. Outside of that, Clemson will make a trip up to Notre Dame in 2020 and 2022 before the Irish return to Death Valley in 2023. Also, the Tigers have Texas A&M penciled in between those years in 2018 and 2019.

But, who should Clemson football try to schedule in the upcoming years? Who would be nice opponents to gain more respect or the Clemson football program for the upcoming years? Check out these five teams that I think would be exciting match ups for the Tigers in the near future.
