3. Jalen Ramsey, FSU.

Ramsey is a 6’1 201 lb junior cornerback. He has played mostly at safety but will be exclusively at corner this season. This gifted athlete competes on the FSU track team as a sprinter and a long jumper. He finished with a time of 10.61 in the ACC 100 meters final and placed third in the ACC indoor and outdoor long jump finals. The preseason All-American and Jim Thorpe Award candidate is very confident. How confident? At the ACC Kickoff in Pinehurst, NC, he was asked if he thought he was the best player in the country, “…..they don’t compare to what I’ve done since I’ve been in college. On the football field, on the track, just all around-I’m the best athlete in college football.” Ramsey led FSU in pass breakups and had two interceptions so his words are not without merit. He was a disruptive force at times last season and the NFL scouts can’t wait to see what he does at the combines.
