We are still a little over a month away from NFL.com's release of the top 100 players in the league for the 2025 season and it usually conjures up plenty of controversy. Fortunately, other sites are releasing their top 100 lists already and we get to see which Clemson football players made the cut.
CBS Sports released its top-100 list on Wednesday and the Tigers were represented.
Just like last year, two Clemson players made the top 100. With all of the Clemson talent in the league, it's hard to believe there aren't more Tigers in the top 100, but the selections make sense, especially since guys like Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne have plenty of room to grow.
Dexter Lawrence and Tee Higgins made CBS Sports' Pete Prisco's top 100.
Lawrence, a three-time Pro Bowler, led all the Tigers on the list at No. 29 overall. He missed plenty of time with an injury last season and ranked No. 19 on Prisco's list a year ago. The former Clemson star and current New York Giant is due for a monster season in 2025 when he's fully healthy.
Higgins comes in at No. 70 on Prisco's list, taking full advantage of a new contract and having one of the best quarterbacks in the world throwing him the ball. He had 10 touchdown receptions last season so if you had him in fantasy, you already knew he was a top-100 player.
While these are the two Clemson pros who make the most sense in the top 100, we should be seeing more Tigers in next year's rankings (I'm guessing Trevor Lawrence and Nate Wiggins).
