There are five new College Football rules to remember for 2016.

The NCAA Rules Committee has released five new rules and is in discussion with one HUGE change to the landscape of college football as a whole. Rules have been tweaked in the past and for the most part, have been well received.

I’m sure every team has suffered a poor judgement call on a helmet to helmet penalty that got a player wrongfully ejected. The coaches for the most part have done a great job at re-teaching the art of tackling without using the crown of your head.

Believe me, I played for years and when someone is running at you full steam ahead, the natural thing to do is duck your head and expect a collision.

However, you can’t do that anymore. Here are the five new rule changes you will see in College Football this season.
