Five Clemson football players we’ll finally get to see showcased vs. S.C. State

4. Beaux Collins

When Dabo Swinney talked about players who he wished had gotten on the field, he was quick to mention freshman WR Beaux Collins.

"“We just didn’t have a lot of plays, but he was the one I wish we could’ve got in there,” Swinney said of Beaux Collins. “He’s ready to play. Definitely, this will give him more opportunity, and same thing with Dacari. Those guys, they’re going to have a lot of opportunities as we go throughout the season and excited for that.”"

The expectation this week is that both Beaux Collins and Dacari Collins find their way onto the field sooner rather than later.

Beaux has some natural chemistry with D.J. Uiagalelei because of their high school connection and we’re intrigued to see what he can accomplish at the position. There’s no doubt the talent is there and we think Collins could mesh well with some of the other wide receivers if this offense is run to its potential.
