1. Winning a National Championship as a freshman

There is only one quarterback to win a National Championship as the starter in the history of College Football not named Trevor Lawrence and that’s Jamelle Holieway.

Lawrence threw for 347 yards and three touchdowns against the Alabama Crimson Tide and led the Tigers to a dominant 44-16 victory. He was named the Offensive MVP and did his damage against an extremely talented group.

That’s a moment that Clemson football fans won’t forget any time soon.

Lawrence’s performance helped lead Clemson to its third National Championship in program history. While we know the Tigers are poised to be back for years to come, that still is the last National Championship we’ve been able to celebrate at the point of this writing and it’s a victory that should absolutely be remembered forever.
