The No. 1-ranked Clemson Tigers are set to take on the Syracuse Orange

The No. 1-ranked Clemson Tigers will be back in action this Saturday to take on ACC opponent Syracuse in a game that will have significant bearing for the Tigers when it comes to the ACC standings.

As we progress towards the end of the season, the ACC standings are becoming more noteworthy and currently, the Tigers are first with a conference record of 4-0. Right behind them is the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, who are 3-0.

While Clemson may sit atop the standings currently, there are a plethora of one-loss teams in the conference (including NC State, Miami, North Carolina and Virginia Tech) who could all become factors rather quickly if the Tigers were to be upset. That’s exactly why this game is extremely important as we move forward.
