1. LSU offense vs. Clemson defense

Let’s not bury the lede.

The LSU offense vs. the Clemson defense is the match-up and story of the night, and it’s not really close.

It’s Brent Venables- one of the top defensive minds in the nation- going up against a historically great offense in LSU.

LSU has a deep wide receiver core. The Tigers have the Heisman Trophy winner at quarterback. They have an offensive line that won the Joe Morrison Award.

How will Brent Venables and that No. 1-ranked Clemson defense slow down that No. 1-ranked LSU offense?

In my opinion, Clemson football fans should watch Isaiah Simmons in this one. Simmons is going to make an impact lining up at both linebacker and safety during the game and I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see him come away with a couple of sacks and maybe even an interception when it’s all said and done.
