Game Experience

The game involvement is electric and exciting. What you must form a habit, however, is to watch the game live and then view the replay screen. Often, you get consumed with the largeness of the video replay that you begin to view this as your source instead of watching the live-action down in front of you.

Exiting the complex depends on where you tailgate or park for the game. Security on-campus has this down to a science and the exiting traffic flow was much better than expected. Just like a fireworks display, everyone is wanting to leave at the same time but was surprisingly easy.

What was very cool was that before the game began, the band played “God Bless America” to which a portion of the crowd joined in and sang along, Next was a prayer.

That was followed by the “Pledge of Allegiance” and finally the “National Anthem” which had crowd participation as well. I have been to a multitude of sports venues at all levels and this was the first time I have seen the “Pledge of Allegiance” performed.

What was the Clemson GameDay experience like? Family atmosphere, friendship, hospitality, intensity, loud volumes, and a virtuous Christian ambiance.

Oh yeah….and the game!
